Tom Grennan has released ‘Little Bit Of Love’, the euphoric new single taken from his anticipated second album, ‘Evering Road’, due for release March 5th 2021 via Insanity Records.
‘Little Bit Of Love’ is a confessional, dynamic pop ballad, inspired by the push and pull of emotions that come with the throes of a colliding relationship, elevated by a journey of personal discovery. Speaking about the track, Tom says:
“‘Little Bit Of Love’ is all about the mental struggle of moving on, or going back to a relationship.”
‘Little Bit Of Love’ is set to feature on Tom’s forthcoming album ‘Evering Road’. Named after the East London address Tom shared with his then-girlfriend, it’s a hub of love, heartbreak and redemption. A bold and exciting new chapter shot through with raw emotion and searing honesty.
Packed with defiant songs to define the new decade and torch listeners’ hearts along the way, ‘Evering Road’ also includes new anthem for hope and optimism, ‘Something Better’, soaring first single ‘This Is The Place’, the soulful ‘Oh Please’ and gospel-tinged ‘Amen’. The album also serves a deeply reflective and personal body of work – a reformative and empowering experience that Tom hopes will go on to help others who have endured similar emotional hardships:
“This album has been such a therapeutic experience, it has helped me through one of the toughest times of my life. Evering Road documents a transitional stage for me, where I felt I’ve learnt so much and grown into a new man, moving myself into a new calm and positive space. Gospel and soul have been a huge influence on me during this album, for me it’s so emotional yet uplifting, and I wanted to translate this DNA through my music. I’m just BUZZING for people to hear it. And hopefully it can be a lifeboat of sorts for at least one other person.”
Tom’s breakthrough album ‘Lighting Matches’ cemented him as one of the UK’s most vital and exciting new artists, and one of the Top Ten best-selling debuts of 2018. A UK Top Five record, ‘Lighting Matches’ has amassed over a quarter of a billion streams, seen sold out shows at The Royal Albert Hall, Brixton Academy and won over thousands of fans at festivals including Reading And Leeds, Isle Of Wight, TRNSMT, Latitude and a host of other events.
