TRNSMT Festival 2020 tickets are on-sale from 9AM tomorrow as Festival Boss declares Scottish audience “are a credit to Scotland.”
150,000 music fans descended on Glasgow Green last weekend for the sold out TRNSMT Festival which well and truly lived up to its reputation as Scotland’s biggest and best music festival. Hot on the heels of another hugely successful weekend, festival organisers have confirmed dates for TRNSMT 2020 with the festival set to return to Glasgow Green between 10th – 12th July 2020.
Over 70 acts performed at TRNSMT 2019 over three days of incredible live music and glorious sunshine as fans were treated to unforgettable sets from Main Stage heavyweights Stormzy, Catfish & the Bottlemen, George Ezra, Gerry Cinnamon, Lewis Capaldi, Emeli Sandé and more while over at the King Tut’s Stage Powered by Utilita Energy and the brand new Queen Tut’s Stage, fans had the opportunity to check out an exciting array of up and coming talent from all over Scotland and further afield.
From Stormzy’s Police escort to the festival on Friday night, epic sets from Gerry Cinnamon and Catfish and the Bottlemen, singalongs and fireworks from George Ezra plus an entrance worthy of a Scottish superstar from Lewis Capaldi – it was an incredible weekend of music. With the sun shining down on Glasgow Green, fans caught sets from some of the biggest names in music including Bastille, Richard Ashcroft, Years & Years and Sigrid, plus checked out the best up and coming bands on the King Tut’s Stage Powered By Utilita Energy with outstanding sets from Example, The Hunna, Circa Waves and more.
As the sun set on the sold-out festival, organisers DF Concerts confirmed dates for 2020 as 10th – 12th July with a spectacular projection on Glasgow’s McLennan Arch and Trongate Clock Tower, seen by tens of thousands of fans who exited from Glasgow Green after George Ezra’s closing performance.

This year’s sold-out festival was the best yet with so many highlights; from Stormzy’s covering a Lewis Capaldi song on Friday evening, Gerry Cinnamon’s huge performance on the Main Stage, the sun-drenched set from the outstanding Sigrid, Catfish and the Bottlemen’s closing Saturday night, plus George Ezra and Lewis Capaldi’s epic Main Stage performances, it was an outstanding weekend of music. We can’t wait to return to Glasgow Green next summer for another phenomenal weekend of music.”
