Guitar Music Is Dead. The Americas announce 3 new singles to be released over the next 3 months followed by the release of their 6 track debut EP in September.
The Americas are a British guitar band trying to make it pay in the 21st century. Taking influences from 70’s Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and American pop-culture.They put on their suits, strap up their boots and take their rock and roll gospel to anyone who’ll listen.
They’ve played major UK festivals such as Reading, Isle of Wight, Truck & Y Not and made their European debut in Paris in April this year.
Starting June 1st The Americas will release one single a month on the first Friday of each month, for three months. These singles will form part of the 6 track debut EP ‘Guitar Music Is Dead’ scheduled for release September 7th. A string of live dates in support of the EP across the UK & Europe will follow through September/ November.
A self directed/produced music video for lead single ‘Come On Out’ will follow shortly after it’s release on June 1st.
