This Friday (17th Jan), Hull based band FEVER are set to release their brand new single “Money Love” via Blossoms’ record label Very Clever Records. Their first single of 2020 is “Money Love” which is written by the band and produced by Pat Pretorius of AOO Studios. “Money Love” will follow up to the band’s debut single “Jungle Man” which was also released on Very Clever Records back in October 2019. To get a taste of Fever’s sound before Friday, you can listen to ‘Jungle Man’ here:

Speaking about the new single, lead singer James Harrod described “Money Love” as:

“A short burst of energy that represents the frustrations of being penniless in a relationship. Inspired by a past encounter with someone who craved money over everything else.”

The eagerly awaited track follows on from ‘Jungle Love’ and has that same anthemic, indie banger quality. It’s got a majorly catchy chorus that I haven’t been able to get enough of this morning. Talk about infectious, the track is cleverly put together and lyrically there are bits in there that we can all identify with.

The band has also gained support from Gordon Smart on Radio X, who said the band are “going to be special live”, as well as Chris Hawkins of BBC 6Music describing their debut single as “a bit of an anthem”. The single is also This Feelings Radio X’s track of the week.
