‘Radio’ is the new single from JW Paris, the single ‘Radio’ is challenging the conformity of todays manufactured pop culture that floods our ears and this is the track that rebels against that. It begs the question “With so many great new bands out there, why do the mainstreams play the same old bland manufactured pop drivel every single day?”
For JW Paris they just want to hear a banging Rock ’n’ Roll tune and this is their version of exactly that.
The tracks sound continues in the vein of their previous releases drawing heavily on their 90’s influences and starts with the ballsy, controversial opening line ‘I Can’t Stand What I Hear On The Radio/I just Want What I Put On My Stereo’.
Currently tipped as a band to watch in 2019 for Fred Perry Subculture, JW Paris have accumulated nationwide radio play, over 20k views across social channels, synced to Sky Sports and their single ‘Darker Side of Paradise’ taken up as the British Swimming 2019 promotional song.
Like the last two singles ‘Radio’ is produced and mixed by Hugo Nicolson (Grammy award winner who has worked with Primal Scream, Radiohead, Julian Cope and Bjork) and mastered by John Davis at Metropolis (U2, Noel Gallagher).
The band continue to be busy on the live circuit and have more gigs coming up in UK and Europe in March and April 2019 to support the ‘Radio’ single.
