Fontaines DC recently announced news of their 2021 tour and earlier this week they offered NHS staff and Key Workers free tickets to the shows. The new dates will also include the band’s biggest headline UK show to-date at London’s Alexandra Palace. The news follows the announcement of their highly anticipated second LP ‘A Hero’s Death’. It also comes hot off the heels of their recent performance on Jools Holland.  

The second offering ‘A Hero’s Death’ was produced in London by Dan Carey. They announced the album alongside the title track, which features a music video starring Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, The Wire, Peaky Blinders). 
The have recently shared the opening track from the album “I Don’t Belong” a much more mellow sounding track compared to that of their debut album ‘Dogrel’ opening track ‘Big’.

Their debut album ‘Dogrel’ debuted at Top 10 on the UK album charts and earnt Fontaines D.C. a Mercury Prize nomination, #1 Album of the Year positions from BBC 6 Music and Rough Trade, a performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and numerous sold out tours in the UK and abroad.
