Last week, The Blinders released the following statement:

“The Blinders are pleased to announce a partnership with ModernSky UK. We have officially signed with the innovative Liverpool based label, Modern Sky UK, a venture which holds true promise and excitement for all involved.”

Northern Exposure have always known The Blinders were meant for greatness and have supported them from the off. They started in 2014, three lads from Doncaster – Mattie, Charlie and Tom – and performed and toured whenever they got the opportunity. Attend a live show and you will experience the passion and poetry of Nick Cave and the anarchy of Jim Morrison infused through punky psychedelic performance which leave you always begging for more. Inspired by life, politics and literature, their influences and outlook gives them a unique edge and is making the world sit up and take notice.
When asked to comment on their recent success, The Blinders refer to Ballad of a Thin Man by Bob Dylan:

Because something is happening here
But you don’t know what it is
Do you, Mister Jones ?

It’s certainly hotting up for this fabulous band – The Blinders were one of the bands to play The Charlatans’ Manchester take over; ‘A Different Day’ in May, and also the Tim Peaks Stage at Festival Number 6 in September.
We’re so excited to hear that The Blinders will support The Charlatans on the first date of their next UK tour at Nottingham Rock City on 29th November.
“Catch them live. One of the most exciting new bands around.”  (Tim Burgess)

However, the Blinders boys are keen to remember those who have supported them from their humble beginnings in 2014 and have recently posted this on their website and Facebook page:

‘a quick mention goes out to all who supported us in some way, shape or form, be it the love from our parents, management and/or believers alike.’
