The vastly saturated in talent, Bang Bang Romeo, is the highly emotive, Yorkshire based 4-piece with the phenomenal vocal talent that is Anastasia Walker, who I might add has one hell of a set of lungs.
Packing out the #jackrocks/This Feeling tent at TRNSMT just over a week ago, Anastasia, Ross Cameron, Richard Gartland and Joel Phillips powerfully performed an array of potent BBR hits with their distinctive style that blends the finest elements of rock & roll soul. The band blasted out their latest single ‘Chemical’ which was delivered passionately and was received well by the vivacious crowd. All the tracks thundered along rather nicely to some very catchy choruses.
After seeing this performance at TRNSMT and also their Big Top performance at IOW, it is clear this band without a doubt belongs on the big stage. When Anastasia sings, she lets everything go and her control over her audience is purely mesmerising, as she effortlessly engages the crowd. Between them all the band create a compelling and enticing sound and perform a stunning, awesome, live show. When you are watching ‘Bang Bang Romeo’ you get that sense that you are witnessing something incredibly special, that ‘I saw them when they were on the smaller stages before they were massive’ kind of special.
The tightness of the band coupled with Anastasia’s infectious package of beauty and talent, means that its only a matter of time before Bang Bang Romeo become one of the biggest female fronted bands around.
Check out their new video for the afore mentioned ‘Chemical’ here… https://youtu.be/rq_sDA1EM3Q which was released yesterday.
You can also catch the band live on the This Feeling Alive tour where four of the most best up and coming bands on the indie circuit will tour together.
The line-up includes The Shimmer Band, The Blinders, BANG BANG ROMEO and BlackWaters.
